The Chemistry Division of the Institute of Physical Sciences hosts research and project-based graduate studies under the auspices of the University of Iceland in the fields of chemistry. Emphasis is placed on fundamental research and international research collaboration.
At the Chemistry Division a wide range of basic research is conducted in theoretical chemistry, physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organometallic chemistry, and organic chemistry.
